How to generate and download an assets report

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Reports let you export your security status in a clear, shareable format. Strike offers three types of reports depending on what you want to document:

  • Asset report — the security status of a specific asset.

  • Threat Emulation report — the summary of a completed Threat Emulation.

  • Project report — the result of a Project once testing is finished.

All reports are downloaded in PDF format and are available in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Any user with platform access can generate and download reports.

Asset report

From the asset view:

  1. Go to the asset.

  2. Click the Get report button.

  3. In the dropdown, select the report language (Spanish, Portuguese, or English).

  4. Generate and download the document.

Threat Emulation report

The Threat Emulation report downloads the summary of that emulation.

From the Threat Emulation detail view:

  1. Go to the Threat Emulation detail view.

  2. Click the Download summary button, in the upper right corner.

  3. The document with the emulation summary is downloaded.

The Download summary button is enabled once the Threat Emulation is completed and the summary is visible in the detail view. Before that, the download isn't available.

Project report

From the Project detail view:

  1. Go to the Project detail view.

  2. Generate and download the report.

The Project report becomes available once the entire test execution is completed. While testing is still in progress, the report isn't available yet.

FAQ and troubleshooting

What types of reports can I generate in Strike?

Three: asset report, Threat Emulation report, and Project report.

Who can download reports?

Any user with platform access can generate and download reports.

What format are they downloaded in?

All reports are downloaded in PDF format.

What languages can I download the report in?

Spanish, Portuguese, and English. The language is chosen when generating the report.

When can I download each report?

The asset report can be generated at any time, though without a completed test it may not show results. The Threat Emulation report is enabled once the emulation is completed. The Project report is enabled once the entire test execution is finished.

The report downloads incomplete or empty. What should I do?

Check that the test has finished and that there are validated findings. If testing is still in progress, the report likely won't show results.

I can't find the download option

Confirm that the corresponding test has finished:

  • For Threat Emulations, the Download summary button only appears once the emulation is completed and the summary is visible in the detail view.

  • For Projects, the report is enabled once the entire test execution has finished.

  • For assets, you can generate the report at any time, but if the test hasn't finished, there likely won't be results to show.
