Notification settings

Last updated: July 29, 2026

The platform notifies you when something important happens — a Threat Emulation finishes, a new vulnerability is published — so you don't need to keep the platform open to stay on top of your security.

You can control which notifications you receive from SettingsNotifications.

Available channels

  • Email: sent to your account's email. Each notification includes the event, its context, and a direct link to the platform.

  • Slack: sent to the Slack channels your team already uses, through Strike's integration with Slack.

  • In-app: coming soon. Notifications will also appear in your notification center within the platform.

Each notification includes a link that takes you directly to the relevant page.

Event types

  • Threat emulation status: sent when a Threat Emulation starts, finishes, or fails. Completion notifications include a summary of the vulnerabilities found and their breakdown by severity.

  • Vulnerability published: sent when a new vulnerability is confirmed and published, with its severity and a link to the details.

  • Asset status: sent when the status of one of your assets changes.

  • Project status: sent when a project changes status.

You only receive notifications for the assets and projects you have access to.

How preferences work

  • All events are enabled by default.

  • Email toggles are personal: they only affect what you receive.

  • Slack toggles apply to the entire organization and are managed by Owners.

  • Each event can be enabled or disabled independently, or you can use Deselect all per channel.
